Chartered Quantity Surveyor since 1989. Worked for the largest privately-owned construction company followed by Balfour Beatty for the first twenty years of my working life. For the next twenty years, I ran my own construction business which was sold in 2020 through a management buy-out. More recently I have assisted a local developer to finance his developments by providing 'Seed' funds to facilitate his ability to raise further finance for the land purchase and build.
