I began my AI career as a postdoctoral researcher in the Yale University Computer Science Dept and have been a founder or co-founder of many companies. My AI-based Esperant product became one of the leading business intelligence products of the 1990s and I co-founded Device42 which has won awards as a fast-growing tech company. I also helped fund about 30 startups as an angel investor including Tangoe, which was the 6th-best IPO of 2011.
