Professional background

I have worked for close to 40 years in the insurance broking sector in the UK. I operated at the board level for over 20 years, most recently leading a business through two private equity cycles, growing the business, predominantly via an M&A strategy from 200 employees to 2,000. I have recently retired from the sector and am interested in possible investment opportunities, including where I may be able to add intellectual value.

Areas of Expertise

I have extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sector. I have personally been involved in acquiring over 50 businesses in the last 8 years. Those businesses range in size from enterprise value of £500k to £100 million. I consider myself to have good all-around knowledge of helping businesses grow, developing people, advising and challenging on strategy, delivering profits and planning an ultimate exit strategy.
